At St. Giles’, we believe in providing children with language skills that will open doors to the world, enabling them to seize every opportunity in life. Receiving high-quality education should promote children's curiosity and deepen their understanding of the world.

Learning a language can benefit children's understanding of the similarities and differences with other countries. In teaching French, we make links across the curriculum so that our children are able to make connections with countries studied across the curriculum, through our vehicles in history, geography and art.

Year 4 - Can you guess the animals?

Year 4 have been learning about animals in French. They have developed their vocabulary and created sentences describing animals and their habitats.

Year 5 - What season is it?

Year 5 have been learning about the seasons. We have consolidated our weather vocabulary and we can now create our own sentences to describe the seasons.
