Jubilee Year: Pilgrims of Hope 2025

Every 25 years, the Catholic Church has a Holy Year of Jubilee. 2025's Theme is 'Pilgrims of Hope'. 

 

In school, we will be celebrating the Holy Year with a range of events and sharing them on this page. You may like to access some of the resources, below, to help you prepare for the Holy Year or to familiarise yourself with it.

This Jubilee icon was painted by Mulugeta Araya from Ethiopia. In order to celebrate and commemorate the Jubilee Year 2025, Pilgrims of Hope, CAFOD commissioned an icon from artist Mulugeta Araya in Ethiopia, for the Catholic Church in England and Wales.
