Year 3 - St. Teresa of Kolkata

St. Theresa of Kolkata was known as Mother Theresa. She was a nun who devoted her life to serving the poor and destitute around the world, particularly in the slums of India. She was also the founder of the Order of the Missionaries of Charity which is dedicated to helping the poor.
Today, she is considered one of the 20th Century's greatest humanitarians. She was awarded many honours for her work, including the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.
