Reception September 2024

A huge welcome to all of those who will be joining us in September 2024!

We recognise that starting school can be daunting for both children and parents.

Please be assured that all Reception staff are experienced early years professionals. 

We are very much looking forward to welcoming your children in September. Initially we will be focussing on 'Personal Social and Emotional Development' - helping the children to get to know class routines and rules, helping them to develop relationships with the adults and other children, and making sure the children feel secure and confident coming to school.

Below are some of the stories we will be sharing at the beginning of the year, to help the children feel settled and support them in being able to identify/talk about their feelings:
